YOUNG BUSALIAN: A GLIMPSE ON THE VERSATILITY OF MULTI-AWARDED YOUTH AMBASSADOR x YOUNG SEAFARER

Being young connotes full of energy, vibrance, creativity and idealism. Young ones nowadays are fond of exploring their potentials and discovering lots of endless possibilities. They are always on- the- go and high-spirited. They also love adventures.

Although very rare, it is really such an immense pleasure to know some notable young individuals who are very versatile, flexible and multi-slashed in various fields. Indeed, a typical example of Busalian, a Hiligaynon term for a charming, influential person and a kind of person who has an extraordinary mastery of his crafts. When you check Google, Busalian also means enchanting and refers to someone who possesses powers.

The AHE World network is very lucky to have H.E. Ambassador Dr. hc Carl Nyxyl G. Galapin on its roster of advocates and ambassadors. This promising young lad is one of the pride os the Philippines’ Mango Capital, Guimaras. It’s no wonder that this young guy is also sweet and charismatic.

Back in his elementary grades in Dolores ES, Caloy, as he is fondly called, was with their cultural group and a regional contender in editorial cartooning. In Nueva Valencia NHS, he was with their school organ, the Valencian Star as field journalist, layout artist and managing editor. He also participated and won titles in various news casting competitions and was able to get his first live TV appearance on September 2016 when he served as TV Patrol Panay News Anchor and guested Sikat Ka Iloilo.

Carl graduated with BS in Marine Transportation degree from St. Therese MTC Colleges. Being a journalist at heart, he again immersed himself in campus journalism as Managing Editor in their organ, Theresian Seawaves. He was once a contributor of National Geographic when he took part in an international film “Gathering Storm”, A NatGeo series covering the typhoon Tisoy in Northern Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

Caloy is not only a youth leader. He has a blooming personality loaded with awesomeness as he is wearing different hats. He is a film maker, photographer, videographer, drummer, news writer, editorial cartoonist, layout artist, environmentalist, adventurer, voice talent, a vlogger and social media influencer and a host. This friendly, caring, humble, optimistic, family-oriented and God-fearing leader has hosted international events and a content creator of Marinong Pilipino, one of the top media influencers in the maritime sector.

He dream of establishing his own charitable institution in the future as he advocates journalism, press freedom and resiliency.

His view of success is very simple. Being happy with his family is already a success for him. He don’t need title and money just to flaunt how far he achieve in life. He valued happiness, contentment with family, benevolence and or generosity.

Now, he has been recognized and discovered by several organizations and award giving bodies not only in Asia but globally. He is now the executive director of Guild of Dynamic Youth Leaders International under the umbrella of the internationally accredited Global Academy for Human Excellence. He is also an Excellence Awardee and the Global Youth Chairman of UN ECOSOC SCS SDC appointed by the UN Goodwill Ambassador from the Republic of Korea. A Gawad Rizaliano Awardee, Social activist awardee and a holder of the international emblem for quality and excellence. He is also a Filipino Youth representative of Asian University International. He was also recognized by the International Organization for Democracy and Human Rights in Norway.  At 22, he was granted an Honorary Doctorate award as Doctor of Humanities Honoris Causa by the UN Rescue Services in Stockholm Sweden. During pandemic, he was awarded by World anti Narcotics Council and even Recognized by several Philanthropists and humanitarian organizations. He was able to creat a national search for pure and authentically strong Sangguniang Kabataan in the Philippines, the Modelong Kabataan ng Pilipinas (MKP) year one. He is also the program director of a disney themed film festival for youth, the FROZEN. Competed in several national film festivals and won titles. He currently received his Medal of Excellence from Global Academy for Human Excellence for his outstanding service and influence in different social media platforms. He is now establishing his first academy for seafarer content creators and writers, the Lakbay Marino Philippines  with his partner content creators, Lakbay ni RJ Samarnon  , Lakbay Marinero , Lakbay Marinong Ilocano   and Marinong Pilipino  . Now, several corporations and humanitarian organizations are supporting his advocacy as they see quality potentials at his young age.
